‘Behind the Door’ (screenplay by Justus van den Elsen and Freek Jansen, directed by Justus van den Elsen) is a fairytale short film of 15 minutes that tells the story of Joris, a ten-year-old boy with a passion for drawing and painting. The film follows Joris when he hears that his grandfather, a famous artist, is dying. Even though he has never met his grandfather before, Joris decides to visit the man he admires so much.
